Christmas can be a difficult time, for Christians, for those of other faiths and for those with none. It is a time that can magnify emotions: both joy and sadness can feel more intense. This ‘Blue Christmas’ service on the longest night (solstice) provides a space for our memories and emotions to be held and acknowledged rather than dismissed or hidden. It offers a quiet and reflective space in which we can feel whatever we feel. All are welcome, whatever your life circumstances. This will be a quiet and reflective service with words and music that invite us to come as we are.
