Whirlow Spirituality Centre home page

NEWS: An update on improvements to start at Whirlow in January - in preparation for our 60th anniversary! More here.

For treasure-seekers in a busy world......

...Whirlow Spirituality Centre is a place to be still, find rest and meet with God.

Whirlow is an Anglican Foundation with an Ecumenical vision. It values the Anglican-Methodist Covenant and welcomes fellowship with all members of Churches Together in Britain and Ireland.

Its hidden chapel, set in a peaceful garden on the edge of the Peak District, welcomes individuals, groups and churches. Slow down, relax, learn and play. Explore your spirituality through prayer, reflection and resourcing from the Christian tradition.

Whether or not you are part of a formal group, and whatever your status within it, your story and identity will be honoured here. We will do what we can to support you as you travel your spiritual journey.

Managed in partnership and overseen by a chaplain, Whirlow is served by a team of volunteers and visiting speakers from a variety of backgrounds. Take a look at our events page to see what's on, or simply come and join us at one of our regular, reflective services (right).
