Chris is a Baptist minister and a former President of the Baptist Union of Great Britain. He has ministered in various Baptist and ecumenical congregations, served as principal of a theological college and published in spirituality, theology, ecumenism and worship. Joy is a Methodist minister. She founded The Terminus Initiative on Lowedges, Sheffield 8 - a partnership of Anglican, Free Evangelical, Methodist and United Reformed churches. Before ordination, she worked in the NHS and Department of Health. She is a spiritual accompanier and co-leads the Art of Spiritual Accompaniment course.
John worked for 18 years in the Chemical Engineering Construction business before going to Theological College. He was vicar of St Luke's, Lodge Moor until 2011.
He is now chair of the Board of directors of Whirlow Grange Ltd.
Peter is Reader at St John’s Church, Kimberworth Park in Rotherham. He is a spiritual accompanier, team member for the Art of Spiritual Accompaniment course and an honorary lay canon of Sheffield Cathedral. Now retired, he was a town planner with Sheffield City Council.
Christine studied Genetics to doctorate level before theological studies and is now Director of Formation for Ministry and Principal of St Peter's College, Sheffield diocese.
She is a lay canon and has taught and trained Church Army Evangelists and Church of England Ordinands.
