Discover the Myers Briggs Type Indicator on this introductory workshop led by trained practitioners Jacky Stride and Lynne Quinney.
Participants are invited to notice and explore their own natural way of ‘being’ in the world and consider how that might differ from - or be similar to - others’.
The MBTI, developed by mother and daughter Katherine Briggs and Isabel Briggs-Myers and based on Carl Jung’s theory of personality, has remained one of the most popular tools for self understanding over many years. Unlike many other psychological tools, it does not look at traits, characteristics, strengths or weaknesses but at our preferences for how we conduct ourselves in the world.
This day will include an introduction to MBTI, an opportunity to fill in the questionnaire (processed on the day) and time spent working out each participant’s “best-fit type”. There will be time for reflection, discussion and pondering on how our discoveries may benefit our relationships and spiritual lives.
The day will run from 9.30am to 4.30pm and you are invited to bring your own lunch. If you wish to attend this day but the cost may deter you, please consider applying for a grant.
