Led by Revd Chris Ellis
Ascension Day is an occasion when we can reflect, not only on the biblical story of Jesus leaving his disciples at the end of his earthly existence, but of its rich spiritual meanings. The nature of the Lordship of Christ, his human experience taken up into the divine life and the disciples’ experience of the absence of Jesus will be themes explored during the day.
This quiet day will make plenty of time available for personal prayer and reflection, but will also offer some optional resources through scripture, art and meditation prompts.
