Led by Graham Pigott, the first of these two quiet days (2nd Feb) is being held on the Feast of the Presentation of Christ in the Temple, commonly called ‘Candlemas’. It is repeated on Saturday 4th Feb for those who cannot make a weekday.
Each day will offer an opportunity to reflect on the lives of Simeon and Anna and to explore the role of the Spirit in seeking, finding and seeing consolation: those gifts and graces of God that can enable us to let go and rest in the peace of God.
There will be four meditative talks each followed by a period of silence in which participants may reflect and pray. Suggested ways of doing this, related to the themes being explored, will be offered.
The cost of the day is £18 payable in advance.
